Brisbane 2027 Program Interviews

Congratulations on progressing to the interview stage.

I am delighted to inform you that you have been selected for an initial interview for the 2027 Observership Program.

 

Please watch the video below and then book in an interview time using the link provided in your Interview Invitation Email. Available times are shown for the next two weeks. If nothing suits, check back in a few days as new times become available.

 

INTERVIEW DETAILS

Location:

Interviews will be held online via Microsoft Teams.

A Microsoft Teams meeting link will be included in your booking confirmation email and calendar invite.

Length and format:

Approx. 25 minutes is allocated for each interview. As interviews are short, we ask you to be prompt.

If interviews run over time, you will be held in the virtual waiting room. Please be patient – the interviewer is aware you are in the waiting room.

If you are unavailable during these interview dates, please email qldprogram@observership.com.au.

The interview panel will: 

• Ask what you want to learn and how you want to contribute by participating in the Program
• Briefly review your application, CV and preferences
• Briefly discuss the matching process and next steps.

Prior to the interview, please ensure you have: 

1. Watched the full Preparation for interview video.
2. Read the 2026 Observer Handbook 
3. Read the FAQs on the website.

The interview panel:

• Rachel Exton, Program Lead, NSW and QLD

In the event of a conflict of interest the relevant panel member will recuse themselves from that interview.

No shows may result in being excluded from the selection process.
